AutoFeed/Solutions/Dealer Hub WordPress plugin

Add Dealer Hub stock to your existing WordPress website

Keep your current WordPress site and add listings, search and individual vehicle pages from authorised Dealer Hub stock.

Dealer Hub→AutoFeed API→WordPress

WordPress should not become another inventory system.

If your dealership already maintains its stock through DoneDeal Dealer Hub, the website does not need a second copy of it.

The AutoFeed WordPress integration connects authorised Dealer Hub stock to the site and turns it into listings, search and individual vehicle pages.

01 Capability

What the WordPress integration does

Vehicle stock listings
The live feed, inside the existing site.
Cars and motorcycle categories
Where the dealership sells both.
Search and filtering
Applied to current stock.
Vehicle detail pages
One page per vehicle.
Galleries
The dealership's own photographs.
Specifications and features
Only what the source supplies.
Price and mileage
Tabular figures, kept in step.
Automatic updates
Stock changes reach the site through the source.
Removals
Vehicles no longer in the source leave the site.

Dealer Hub remains the source. WordPress presents the stock to customers.

02 Method

Built for Dealer Hub, not another stock database

A lot of automotive website software tries to create another inventory system inside the website. That is unnecessary when the dealership already manages stock elsewhere.

The AutoFeed approach is different: Dealer Hub remains the place where authorised vehicle stock is maintained, and the WordPress site consumes it. The workflow stays simple and the duplicate entry disappears.

A Dealer Hub stock row highlighted, and the same vehicle highlighted in the WordPress site's listing and detail view.
One row in the source, one vehicle on the site: the listing and the detail view come from the same record.

03 Architecture

WordPress Dealer Hub API integration

The Dealer Hub communication happens server-side. Credentials are not exposed to browser JavaScript.

The website receives normalised vehicle data through the integration layer and uses it to build the public stock experience.

04 Starting point

Integrate an existing site, or build the whole thing

An existing WordPress site

The stock integration is added to the environment you already run. Useful where the brand and site still work but the stock experience is missing or manual.

A replacement site

If the existing site needs replacing, AutoFeed builds the website and the integration together.

05 Reuse

Beyond WordPress

The Dealer Hub integration itself is not tied to WordPress. The AutoFeed API can support other website platforms and custom builds using the same underlying stock connection.
