AutoFeed/Solutions/Dealer Hub integration

Connect DoneDeal Dealer Hub stock to your existing website

Keep the website you already have and display authorised Dealer Hub vehicles, prices, specifications and images on it.

Your vehicles are already in Dealer Hub. Your website should be able to use them.

AutoFeed connects authorised DoneDeal Dealer Hub stock to dealership websites so vehicles, prices, specifications, images and other supplied data can appear without a second round of data entry.

Dealer Hub is a DoneDeal service. AutoFeed provides the website integration.

01 Live stock

Dealer Hub remains the stock source

The integration does not replace Dealer Hub. The dealership continues working with the stock system it already knows.

AutoFeed securely retrieves authorised stock, normalises the vehicle data and makes it available to the dealership website. The website becomes another useful destination for stock already being maintained.

02 Vehicle data

What reaches the website

Where supplied by Dealer Hub, the website can use:

  • Year
  • Make
  • Model
  • Variant
  • Price
  • Mileage
  • Fuel
  • Transmission
  • Body type
  • Colour
  • Engine data
  • Description
  • Specifications
  • Features
  • Vehicle photography

The website experience is then designed around that data. Absent optional properties stay absent.

03 Proof

One integration, different dealer websites

One stock set feeding a used-car site, a commercial vehicle site and a motorcycle site.
One stock set, three dealer identities: cars, commercials and motorcycles from the same feed.

Franklin Motors, Brent Harvey Car Sales and Shaw Commercials all use Dealer Hub data while presenting it differently to their customers.

The integration layer is shared. The dealership experience is not.

04 Architecture

Dealer Hub API integration

  1. 01A server-side integration layer sits between Dealer Hub and the website.
  2. 02Dealer Hub credentials stay away from the browser.
  3. 03The AutoFeed API provides a stable vehicle format.
  4. 04Each frontend consumes that format rather than the raw feed.

That makes the integration easier to reuse across platforms.

05 Platform

Dealer Hub and WordPress

WordPress dealerships can connect their Dealer Hub stock directly to their existing website. The dealership continues maintaining stock in Dealer Hub while WordPress handles the customer-facing vehicle experience.

06 Scope
